Now this is love, ...
What I would be thinking of in my last moments...
All along, I have been trying to forge out a love story in my life; one I would treasure, one I would hold close to me - to the very point of death. In due time, I realized that the greatest love story has already been written and is being disclosed at this very moment.
What really runs this world is love. No one can deny the fact since we from young are brought up by the loving care of our parents, to the fotunate the love of fellow siblings, if not we discover the love of friends. At our prime we unfold a love that is insatiable and explicit. We enter into the world of romance, love specially created to be experience by a couple of opposite sexes.
We are introduced to hate. Yet, undeniably without love, there would be no hate, because hate is simply the opposite of love; the lack of love.
Is there more to love?
Here is the astonishing story if you have not heard of a love story that has lasted from generation to generation, an undying love - the kind of love you probably wish to experience with a love one.
The Origin of love, the Creator of love and Author of this love story loves you and me.
In the hearts of men, the Creator of love has placed a very special part of Him in us. He has buried deep in us a mystery we cannot fathom. He quietly hid Himself in a corner, to see if what He has made out of His love will respond to Him.
From ages to ages, many seeked this love, yet many others forgot the love that resides in their heart. They have no idea of their part in this greatest love story. Again and again, our fathers and forefathers have hurt and betrayed the love that has been showered upon us. Upset, He endured through time and waited for us.
About 2 millenias ago, He decided to part with His closest and most loved one. It was a sacrifice to reconcile all of man to Him. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. And so out of such love, this person died for all of us, because the one who sent him loved us so dearly. This person is Jesus Christ.
Closing in to 5 millenias of world history, He has been reaching out His hand to touch you. He has been beside you all along. He is waiting in the shadows, to carry you out of your problems when you encounter one. Have we even bothered to know or acknowledge this Lover, this Secret Admirer? Do not grief Him any longer, call out to Him, and rest assure He will reply! I do not know when the Author of this love story will pen its last ink, when this love story will reach the final words "The End", but hopefully it ends with a "They lived happily ever after..." for you and me. Make the most while you have the chance!
Back to the topic before concluding. In my last moments, I would be thinking of meeting this Lover of mine, not just the wonderful things installed when I see Him, but for that very lasting embrace I have been longing all my life.
I bring to you the greatest love story ever told in history, way beyond the wildest imagination any author or scriptwriter has every conceived. I carry the mark of the greatest love story ever told. Now is the time to respond to this love. Will you?
